What are you training for?

Maybe last season stalled, and not for lack of effort. Maybe there is a date on the calendar you are not ready for yet. Either way — pick the goal that fits and we'll show you the plans that get you there.

Why these plans

Built to be followed, not admired

  • 01

    Periodised, not random

Every block builds on the last, with recovery weeks baked in. Real training logic, not a workout dump.

  • 02

    Built on your numbers

Sessions target power and RPE, so the intensity is right for you rather than for whoever wrote it.

  • 03

    Yours after one payment

No subscription and no renewal. Ride the same plan again next season, and the one after that.

  • 04

Runs on the kit you own

Every session is a structured file. It exports to Zwift, Garmin or Wahoo with its targets attached.

How it works

From picking a plan to riding it

  1. 01

    Pick your plan

Filter by goal, length and weekly hours. Every plan states exactly what it asks of you before you buy.

  2. 02

    Buy on TrainingPeaks

One payment. The plan lands on your TrainingPeaks calendar starting on whatever date you choose.

  3. 03

    Ride the session

Each workout syncs to Zwift, Garmin or Wahoo with its targets attached. Follow the day, upload, repeat.

What riders say

  • I've trained with Shayne before but failed due to time constraints. But his virtual training program solves that issue… The numbers auto set to your FTP, so the sessions are just hard enough to finish with a great sense of accomplishment. And as the weeks are progressing, I am feeling a lot stronger and more confident about my abilities.

    Todd G.Virtual training program

  • I had never ridden 134 miles with 8000 feet of climbing before. I was not sure I had any business even considering this challenge being an average rider at best… My goal was to finish the ride and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I felt great and my time was better than I expected it to be. At 61 years old I generally feel better riding and climbing is much easier.

  • I came to Shayne and GCC with lots of enthusiasm and willingness to work, but without knowing how to take my riding to the next level. I also had a bucket list goal: California's "Death Ride"… Several (hard!) months later, I crushed the Death Ride and went on to several other challenging rides later in the season. After that, I even took up racing, something I'd never thought I'd do, and had a blast competing in our local cyclocross series.

FAQ

Questions before you buy

How do these training plans work?

You buy the plan on TrainingPeaks and it drops onto your calendar with a start date you choose. Each day shows that day's session and its targets. You ride it, the data syncs back, and you move on to the next one.

Do I need a TrainingPeaks account?

Yes. A free TrainingPeaks account is enough to buy and follow any plan here. TrainingPeaks Premium adds extra analysis but is not required.

Do I need a power meter?

For indoor plans a smart trainer is enough — it supplies the power. Outdoor plans work best with a power meter, but every session also carries a perceived-effort target, so you can ride to feel and still follow the plan.

Is this coaching?

No. These are self-guided plans: you get the full structured plan and every workout, but there is no ongoing coaching relationship. That is what keeps it a one-time purchase instead of a monthly retainer.

What if a plan turns out to be wrong for me?

Plans are covered by the TrainingPeaks refund policy. With the author's approval, a plan can be exchanged for another of equal value from the same author. Refund requests must be made in writing to TrainingPeaks within 24 hours of purchase with a detailed explanation, and are assessed case by case. The simplest route is to contact us before you buy — tell us your goal and we will point you at the right plan.

What if I miss a week?

Shift the plan on your TrainingPeaks calendar and pick it back up. The plans are built in blocks, so missing a session or two will not undo the progression.
